Noah, have you ever looked at the vote breakdown on IMDb? I've discovered that females under 18 are always wrong. Always. Check out Les Enfants du Paradis. 8.0/10 overall...1.7 for females under 18. Does it feature their step-dad stabbing Miley Cyrus? I don't know, but there seems to be no other explanation. And check out Pride and Prejudice.
One of the funnier vote breakdowns is for the recent Jonas Brothers concert movie; 96.5% of voters gave the movie either a 10 or 1.
Anther good one is the breakdown for Window Water Baby Moving. An experimental film that graphically depicts childbirth, women around childbearing age give it a very low rating. I, too, would hate to watch it seven months pregnant and see the placental rush, but at least I've got at least another ten years before that happens.
